PASTOR'S NOTE
Who are your friends? Have you ever built a deep and personal relationship with a movie star? With the lead singer for a rock group playing to sold-out concerts of 30-60,000 at a time? Perhaps you have. But even if you did, the seeds of that relationship did not likely spring from a time where you and 40,000 others had an "intimate" time at an arena. Even a powerful and Spirit-filled religious speaker or movie is unlikely to build a personal bond with you at such a large event.
Christ didn't come to preach to "sold-out synagogues." He wanted to have dinner and spend time building individual, irrefutable, powerful, personal bonds. He wanted to preach to 3 or 30 yet still found himself preaching to thousands. He knew this would happen. He seized the moments to preach, teach and perform miracles before many. Yet isn't it a comfort to know He desired to remain intimate and personal as often and for as long as the situations would allow? Isn't it a joy to know He comes to each of us and invites us to a personal relationship with the Lord of Lords, our Savior and Creator of all? He loves you. He died for you. And He wants you to live forever in His Kingdom.

CHILD DEDICATION
This week we are dedicating three children as a pledge before God and our church family: MinJee Kay Foltz, Henry Austin Pence, and Augustine John Pence. Let’s keep the cross central in our home and keep that message in front of our children. "For the Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes." (Romans 1:16)

CHILDREN'S CELEBRATION
On Sunday, June 3rd we will be 'graduating' children in our children's ministry to the next grade. You won't want to miss this celebration as we cheer on the WCC kiddos, celebrate God's faithfulness through our dedicated teachers and hear what's ahead for the Children's Ministry!
